Tableware for every diseases

The ORNAMIN fork with extended handle is intuitive to use. The bendable and extended handle can be used for any hand shape and motor skills and is suitable for right- and left-handers. The flexible handle made of silicone can be flexibly bent into any desired shape without much effort, without heating and the like. It stays in shape until it is bent again. The length of the handle allows many positions for holding the cutlery. Independent eating is thus made possible and encouraged. The fork with extended handle is a practical help in everyday life especially for people with diseases such as a tremor, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis or stroke.
The fork is part of the ORNAMIN cutlery set (model 970), which includes knife (model 971), fork (model 972) and spoon (model 973).

FUNCTIONALITY AND DESIGN

The fork is designed in such a way that it can be used by as large a group of users as possible and enables safe access and thus independent eating even with limited hand and finger mobility or a tremor. The flexible handle holds its shape and its length makes it suitable for different grip positions. The pleasant feel of the non-slip material ensures a secure grip despite the handicap. The cap at the end in silver-grey can be unscrewed and enables thorough cleaning. The ORNAMIN fork can be easily and hygienically cleaned by hand. The weight of the fork helps, among other things, to compensate for the symptoms of a rest tremor.
